Chinese-Made, Done Right: This Is The Peacock Divine Craft Tourbillon, And It's Rather Splendid!
@peacockwatches #Peacock #Tourbillon #MONOCHROMEwatches No more we say! It's about time we open up and embrace Chinese mechanical watchmaking, and to prove our point, we take a closer look at a rather fine one! This is the Peacock Divine Craft Hand-Made Micro-Engraved Ultra-Thin Tourbillon Limited Edition, in Glacial Green. Forget the long name, but this one is well worth your time, as it packs a very neat-looking dial and a fully in-house-made tourbillon escapement with Gyromax balance wheel, for less than USD 5,000! With more than three-quarters of a century of watchmaking under its belt, Peacock is a properly impressive company, which by the mid-1980s was producing a staggering 3.8 million watches annually! This Divine Tourbillon represents the pinnacle of Peacock's watchmaking capabilities, with a finely crafted dial with over 1,000 individually struck grooves, an exposed flying tourbillon escapement, and a rather sharply cut 39.5mm wide 904L stainless steel case. This, and a whole lot more, in the full video!
