It is one of the most important watches around, and was part of the inaugural quartet of watches launched upon the brand's revival in 1994. Since then, it has been revered for its unconventional non-overlapping indications, backed by a fully in-house-made movement. The Lange 1 Daymatic is an inverted automatic spin-off from the otherwise manually wound collection, first introduced in 2010. The latest edition of this slightly more practical automatic Lange 1 comes in a lovely Honeygold case with a warm brown dial that features that signature layout. But instead of the usual power reserve, it now shows the day of the week. And of course, around the back, you can admire that gorgeously, twice-assembled movement.
