The C63 True GMT | Christopher Ward
It’s True. Introducing the C63 Sealander True GMT – a new expression of Sealander, powered by our new in-house CW-002 movement. Designed for travel across borders and time zones, a True GMT allows the local hour hand to jump independently while a fourth hand tracks home time, with the date adjusting automatically as you move. It’s a complication prized for its elegance, practicality and mechanical sophistication. At its heart is the in-house, Calibre CW-002, developed over three years by Technical Director, Frank Stelzer. Using CW-001 as its foundation, the challenge was to integrate a True GMT mechanism while maintaining a slim, wearable thickness. The solution: 23 key changes – 16 entirely new parts and seven modified components – all carefully engineered to fit within the existing architecture without adding height. The result is a COSC-certified movement that is as refined in wear as it is in execution. Where will you take yours?
