Jacob & Co. Godfather II: The $440,000 Watch You Can Hear

The Jacob & Co. Godfather II is a US$440,000 musical watch that can play two melodies from The Godfather soundtrack. Yes, really. In this video, we sat down with Jacob & Co. CEO, Benjamin Arabo, to take a closer look at one of the brand’s most cinematic creations yet. The Godfather II combines a mechanical music box, a one-minute flying tourbillon, two power reserve indicators, and a newly developed rectangular rose gold case inspired by 1930s Art Deco design. Limited to 74 pieces, the watch is powered by the hand-wound JCAM62 caliber, a 510-part movement that allows the wearer to select between “The Godfather’s Waltz” and “The Godfather Love Theme.” Each melody plays for around 15 to 20 seconds, activated directly from the case.
