A full tantalum watch: How Atelier Wen is ushering in a new frontier of watchmaking

Last week, we hosted an event in our Time+Tide NYC Discovery Studio to officially launch The Frontier, with the founders from many of our Frontier brands, Sartory-Billard, Atelier Wen, Linde Werdelin, and Toledano & Chan in attendance to discuss the origins of their boundary-pushing designs and the frontier of watchmaking they sought to break ground on. Beneath the sapphire caseback sits a customised Girard-Perregaux GP03300 automatic movement, featuring bridges reworked with a Chinese-inspired motif that reinforces the brand’s design identity.
