Craft As A Tribute To Great Civilisations
Craft As A Tribute To Great Civilisations The Maison's profound dedication to artistry is revealed in the creation of the Métiers d'Art Tribute to Great Civilisations series. In close collaboration with curators of @museelouvre, Vacheron Constantin's artisans embarked on a three-year journey to translate monumental masterpieces into miniature works of art. Glyptique on stone, a first for the Maison, brings the central effigies to life, while micro-mosaic, engraving, and enamelling meticulously form the intricate friezes. Each dial requires between 120 and 220 hours of work, a testament to the relentless quest for precision and excellence of the Maison. #VacheronConstantin #OneOfNotMany
