Today we're going to be reviewing the Rolex Land-Dweller 36mm 127234. This is a rather new release from 2025, and the very first of a new line of watches from the crown. This watch is also a personal acquistion for WRB founder Matthew Catellier, joining his ever growing collection of Rolex watches. Available in both a 36mm and 40mm variant, the watch is a re-issue of the Oysterquartz from the 1970's, except this time, instead of featuring a quartz movement it has a brand new in-house creation automatic caliber 7135 with a stunning Dynapulse escpament visible through the exhibition caseback. The watch is also sporting a very unique shimmering opaline dial with a honeycomb patern, applied lume filled markers, a new set of interesting hands, integrated flat jubilee bracelet, and much more.
